"I am a member of a women's religious congregation. If the Church restored the female diaconate I would discern my call to serve the Church in this way as there is a great need for hospital ministry and in other contexts. I have had pastoral experience and am completing a masters in Christian Spirituality and counselling etc. The Church, families and youth need the nurturance of women and will be greatly enriched through women's ministry. What would Jesus do today with shortage of pastors and gaps in ministry? The Church is not balanced God created male and female to complement each other in service to God's people."
